Bountiful Home Sales still Up in November


According to the statistics recently released by the Real Estate in Bountiful MLS, home sales activity picked up in November 2011. A total of 28 residential units were sold in November this year. This is a 7.14 percent increase compared to the same period in 2010 total residential units sold of 26.
The year over year prices of homes dropped 11.48% from November last year's median sold price of $232,500 and original list price of $259,950 to this year's median sold price of $205,810 and original list price of $224,000.
Median dollar per square foot price of the homes sold in November this year was $76.85. Half of these homes sold were bigger than 2,493 square feet. Typically, these units include four bedrooms and three baths.
The number of Bountiful Houses forSale in the market today were 214. Total number of under contract units were 61.

Bountiful Real Estate Reports Strong October Sales



The month of October 2011 saw Bountiful Utah Real Estate report totalled 36 residential homes sold. This was 19.44% increase on the month of October last year with a total of 29 residential homes sold.
In terms of pricing, sales price fell slightly 2.56% from October 2010 median sold price of $195,000 and original list price of $224,988 to the same period this year’s median sold price of $190,000 and an original list price of $199,900.
In October this year, median dollar per square foot price of homes was at $79.27. Half of these homes sold were bigger than 2,376 square feet. Typically, the home went sold have four bedrooms and two baths.
The total Bountiful Houses available in the market for sale today were 233 in which 51 of these are under contract homes.

Home sales in September declined 12.90% to 27 total units sold from 31 total units sold last September 2010.
Sales price was down 0.46% from September last year’s median sold price of $214,990 and original list price of $239,000, quite a little difference to this year’s median sold price of $214,000 and original list price of $239,999.

Bountiful Utah Home Sales skyrocketed in August



August 2011 home sales skyrocketed for Bountiful Utah Real Estate. We have seen an increase of 61.70% from August 2010 total homes sold of 18 to this year’s total homes sold of 47. There are currently 257 homes available for sale in Bountiful in which 47 are under contract homes.
During the month of August 2010, homes median sold price was at $226,500 and original list price was $262,400. In August this year, median sold price of homes was at $190,000 and original list price was $215,000 thus year over year sales price dropped 16.11%. 

The median per square foot price of homes sold in August 2011 was $76.81. While median square feet size was at 2,542. The average home sold in this month include four bedrooms and three baths.
